Time

Back in November I went down to four days a week in the day job.

It was amazing.

I got so much done on Mondays.

While awake.

Rather than trying to cram it in at the end of a long work day after family commitments.

We've just had six weeks of summer holidays.

So the kids have been off school and I've been hanging out with them on Mondays.

Plus a Bank Holiday last week.

Today is my first Monday by myself in a couple of months.

I've loads to do.

Some exciting stuff.

Plus Tabletop Scotland admin.

FlickFleet drawing a crowd as usual
Games design.

Work on the next FlickFleet campaign.

Best crack on!

Scotland

Mum and dad have left.

The kids go back to school this week.

Things are starting to return to normal.

But this coming weekend we’re away at Tabletop Scotland.

Our penultimate convention of the year.

It’s a fun one.

We stay with friends.

There’s a great vibe.

We have historically done pretty well for sales.

Looking forward to it.

But also catching up on things.

I’ll have more time to catch up on things afterwards.

Mondays are my own again once the kids go back to school.

And I can get stuff done in the evenings and on the weekends.

There’s loads to do!

Back, Briefly

It's been a whirlwind few days.

First my father-in-law and his partner visited us for a few days.

Then we went off to the Lake District for a end of holiday weekend with friends.

Now The Wife is in Dublin for a week.

Then she gets back and Paul arrives and we're off to Tabletop Scotland in Edinburgh.

We're on stand C1-02!

We'll be running our FlickFleet competition for the first and last hour of each day, and demos the rest of the time.

While The Wife is away, I'll spend by evenings and possibly lunch breaks finishing off the Exodus from Reynoldsworld campaign page.

There's just over a week to go before it launches.

It, like our other print and play games, is tariff-free for our American fans, despite the recent changes :)

Essen?

Last year we attended 3 shows.

AireCon, UK Games Expo and Tabletop Scotland.

They were all good in their own ways and we enjoyed them all.

This year we can’t make AireCon or Tabletop Scotland due to family holidays.

This weekend at the National Space Centre was great.

All set up at NSC!

But we might have room in the calendar for one more…

Could this be Eurydice Games’ first Essen?

There’s loads of things to work out. Tax. VAT. Customs. Costs.

But we’re looking into it for the first time…

Gear

It’s time to change gear.

The Box of Pirate Flicks campaign has been languishing in neutral.

Our holiday, then Daughter the First’s birthday, then Tabletop Scotland took priority.

I need to crack on now.

I’ve started adding to the page, but there’s lots still to be done.

The page is still pretty Spartan.

Time to crack on.

The ads are running now at least.

Some progress!

Three

Conventions this year.

AireCon in March.

The UK Games Expo for the second time in June.

And now Tabletop Scotland.

Ready to demo!

I came here with low expectations.

It’s small. Much smaller even than AireCon.

But a friend of Paul’s offered to put us up, so it’s fairly cheap too.

I’ve been really looking forward to it.

Another road trip with Paul.

Another weekend of demoing FlickFleet and chatting about prototypes.

It was way better than I expected.

Still feels like we’re gathering momentum.

Lots of fans of FlickFleet stopped by.

Lots of new FlickFleet fans by the end of it :)
