Thanks for your concern :)

The hospital visit was nothing serious, just a study of how people on my treatment respond to vaccines.

Cheers,

Jack

Hehe I played king of siam last night to, my first time. What did you think of the game?

I thought it was decent, a good filler game. We played it with 3 and it worked good with 3. I like to try it with 4 to se how the team bit works out.

Hiya Daniel,

It's the second time I've played it and I really like it - it feels similar to Sumeria in some ways (very simple game, but requires a lot of thought to play well). The guy I played it with hates the 4-player game, but I've no idea because I've only ever played it with three.

Cheers,

Jack

Yes it is very similar to sumeria, both of them have the same 8 region as a core mecanik. Even tho the exicution is a litle diferent.

But I feel that sumeria have a mor depth to the playing. In my two games of king both vhere decided in the last round by the last card. So they where very close. Youre options is always getting fuer and fuer witch not necisary is a bad thing. But sumeria kepps its lever of options al throu the game (of cours they may varu from turn to turn) so sumeria have atleast to me a more "normal" game feeling. Alsi the scoring seems to be mor like a normal game not so close always. That i think gives sumeria an edge over king. Caus the playing time is almost identical.

When I talked to Richard he said that the sales of king have not bin so good. Or atleast not as good as he expected. The game was lanched 2007, maby it is to early to say annything about sumerias sales or compare the both of them.

Hiya Daniel,

Yeah, it's pretty early for Sumeria, but so far it seems to be selling well - long may it continue!
